Megan K. Jones’ practice focuses on a variety of business litigation and labor and employment law matters. Her areas of specialty include contract litigation, partnership dissolution, corporate creation; restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and related claims; drafting, negotiating, and interpreting employment and corporate contracts and severance agreements; drafting of employment-related policies and procedures; drafting and counseling at it relates to HOA formation and enforcement; and client counseling.
Megan received her J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2014. During law school, Megan studied abroad in Cambridge, England, and worked as a domestic violence advocate representing victims of domestic abuse in Crown Point and Gary, Indiana earning the highest grade in the course.
During undergraduate at Berry College, Megan interned with a general civil litigator in Rome, Georgia prior to attending law school.
Megan is a member of the State Bars of Georgia and Florida, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, and the Walton County Bar Association.
Originally from Albany, Georgia, Megan lives in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time at the beach, on the golf course, or in Tallahassee on gamedays with her husband, Matt.
